This is our beef.

Brad and Lindsay grew up in the beef cattle industry and knew that was how they wanted to raise their family. While Isaac and Charlotte may be young, they play an active role in the farm’s day-to-day activities. They are learning at an early age where their food comes from and the importance of caring for animals.

Johnson Family Cattle sells freezer beef in quarters and halves. We are currently booking for July/August and fall. Reservations are filling up quickly so contact us today.

You can find us at The FRESH Project winter market on March 5. Contact Johnson Family Cattle throughout the year to purchase individual beef cuts. We almost always have an inventory of ground beef, roasts and steaks.

Sirloin steak is a very versatile and underappreciated cut of meat. Grilled to perfection, it can be enjoyed with potatoes and carrots, or sliced thin and become the star of the Sirloin Cobb Salad (see next photo).

The Sirloin Cobb Salad is a family favorite around our dinner table. Everyone starts with a bed of spinach and builds their own salad. We top with homemade blue cheese dressing or a balsamic vinaigrette.

Brad grew up on a beef farm in northwestern Wisconsin.
Lindsay grew up on her family's Hereford farm.  
Isaac enjoys all things cattle. Additionally, he's quite the entrepreneur. He raises about 80 chickens (meat birds) each summer and plants MANY varieties of pumpkins. Watch for his pumpkins at the Shawano Farmer’s Market.
Charlotte is our head feed mixer, record-keeper when working cows, and just makes work a lot more fun! She never misses the chance for a ride to check cows.
